Hoppello is intended for adults 18 and over. Live matching is closed while age assurance, moderation, reporting and appeals are being set up and tested.
What won't be allowed
Nudity, sexual acts, harassment, hate, threats, coercion and sharing another person's private information. People should be able to leave any conversation instantly.
Report and block
The live service will include a report button with a reason and explanation. Reports will enter a moderator review queue. A report will not automatically ban someone without review.
Appeals, not pay-to-unban
Banned users will be able to request a review. Paying will never automatically reverse a safety decision or give priority over someone else's safety.
Privacy by design
The preview does not connect to other people or record video. When live chat launches, camera access will be opt-in, and the product will clearly explain any moderation technology and retention before use.
